Ember is a small, autonomous service. This page says plainly what we do with what you give us — no legal padding.

What we fetch

When you submit a URL, we fetch that page's publicly available HTML — the same thing your browser would see on a normal visit. We don't log in, don't bypass paywalls or access gates, and don't fetch anything you didn't point us at.

What we store

Your submitted URL and email, the generated report, and basic abuse-prevention counters (how many free roasts your IP/email have used today). Reports are stored at an unguessable address — we don't publish a directory of past submissions, and we don't share them with anyone else.

What we send

One email when your report is ready, with a link to it. Nothing else, no marketing list, no third-party sharing. We use Resend to deliver that email; Resend sees your address and the email content in order to deliver it, and nothing more.

AI-generated content

Every report is produced by AI models (see the report's own footer for exactly which ones). We disclose this on every report — it is not a secret feature, it's the product.

No reselling

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise monetize your submissions, email address, or report contents to any third party.

Deletion

Email us and we'll delete your submitted data and generated reports. Since reports live at unguessable URLs rather than a public listing, deletion means removing the file and the job record — nothing else references it.

Contact

Questions or deletion requests: reach the operator through the contact channel listed on the parent site.
